Two mono and one stereo 3.5mm inputs with plug-in power work with virtually any TRS camera mounted mic or wireless.

With the DXA-CINE, you can easily add a wireless mic like the new RODE GO II to give you two channel audio on virtually any cinema camera. The clean digital transmission of the RODE system along with the low-noise preamplifiers in the DXA-CINE provide a pristine line level signal for your camera. Nothing could be easier to use or give you better results than this compact, low-cost setup.

Optional third party XLR to 3.5mm cables available for use with self-powered balanced XLR microphones.

Built-in Low/Good/Over level indicators make it easy to verify the signal levels at a glance, while the trim controls allow you to adjust the output signal for optimum recording. The phone jack lets you monitor the audio from the adapter during recording, or camera during playback. You can also loop the output audio from your camera back into the adapter to monitor confidence sound if your camera has a headphone jack.

A very useful feature allows you to use audio bracketing when using a single mono microphone to have a backup channel that is recorded at a lower level. This gives you a safety track in case the primary channel gets distorted from an overly hot input.

Provides both a +4dBu balanced 5-pin XLR output via an optional cable for connection to balanced line level inputs such as the ARRI ALEXA Mini or the ARRI ALEXA Mini LF, and an unbalanced 3.5mm TRS output via the included cable for connection to unbalanced inputs such as the RED DSCM2 module.
