A very useful feature allows you to use audio bracketing when using a single mono microphone to have a backup channel that is recorded at a lower level. This gives you a safety track in case the primary channel gets distorted from an overly hot input. This effectively eliminates the need for any limiters which can add their own type of distortion.

The DXA-PRE has both a balanced mini XLR 5-pin output and an unbalanced stereo 3.5mm output to attach to a wide variety of cameras. We have a several custom cables available to adapt to most cameras. The 3.5mm output cable is included in the box. Other cables are available separately. The BT-PWR power cable is also separately available to connect to any D-Tap source.
